Learn ‘N’ Thrive Foundation, founded in 2021, is a non-profit organization operating out of Vancouver, Canada. We work with students, schools, and organizations to create an inclusive society providing students with real opportunities to thrive regardless of ethnicity or background.
Regardless of their background, with support from Learn’ N’ Thrive Foundation, every student has the opportunity and support to thrive in a society that values and appreciates them.
OUR APPROACH AND WHY WE MATTER
Our outcome addresses some of the key challenges that hold under-privileged students back. We don’t believe that a student’s family economic background, ethnicity or environment should limit their achievement at school or in life.
Our Mission
Our mission is to improve students' academic lives from the most vulnerable populations to succeed in school by providing them learning resources to empower, support and provide them access to educational needs and promote school life participation. Learn 'N' Thrive partners, develop and support motivated low-income students to succeed. Our first student project was to provide books, supplies, uniforms and financial support to marginalized students at the Kissy Grassroot Community Primary School in Kissy, Freetown, Sierra Leone, West Africa, a school where the conditions are deplorable, with children using the floor as tables to do school work! Here basic learning resources are unavailable. Learn 'N' Thrive Foundation recognizes that many of the issues, needs and challenges confronting individuals in poor stricken communities, arise from the circumstances in which they live. Lack of funds and the inability to access educational opportunities impair how these students move beyond those circumstances. We work to increase the prospects for children and transform their situation by providing access to essential educational resources and opportunities through access to school supplies and learning aid.
Our Vision
Advance education in developing nations by providing educational support resources, scholarships, teacher supplies, and essential teaching aids to increase learning outcomes for impoverished children from low-income families. We acknowledge that every child merits a quality education, regardless of social and economic background. Our core philosophy focuses on the right of and opportunity for every child to have an equal learning opportunity that is not determined by where they are born or their family circumstances.

We have numbers that push us to give our best, and we plan to break our records. We are delighted to start this work and anticipate our outreach and impact growth.
Meet OUR TEAM
Our Board of Directors brings experiences from the legal environment, capital markets, education, banking, and health sector. Together they help steer the mission, vision and purpose of Learn ‘N’ Thrive Foundation and the impact on education and literacy on marginalized communities.
Having an unbiased, diverse and experienced team is imperative for our efficiency, impact, and sustainability as a charitable foundation. Therefore, our Founding Board members are volunteers committed to guiding, advising, and being gatekeepers, as we develop an impactful foundation that focuses on the path of fulfilling its mission.
